Hope you all are enjoying the summer energies of the Hawaiian beach and sun! Deidre is flying in from Washington and she will be bringing in some great pieces that you’ll love like this Smokey Quartz Surfboard and Sterling Silver rings set with Aquamarine, Pink Tourmaline and Citrine. Her daughter Serena took these lovely photos at the beach while battling the wind and the sand.
For our jewelry fans, Deidre will bring beautiful platinum over sterling silver jewelry set with brightly faceted gemstones like this unique Aqua Aura pendant by designer Daisy Ho of Hong Kong. Pictured at the top of our newsletter are colorful Nomadic Knotwork wearable art pieces by Isha of Bali. Deidre will have some new pieces that Isha is sending to her just for our show. Amazing wearable gemstone sculptures by artist Kevin Lane Smith will be also be showcased.

This hands on class will be held at Sedona on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. *The $10.00 class fee can be used as a store credit towards purchasing Deidre’s show special items on any of the four days. A portion of the proceeds from this Gem and Jewelry show will be donated to G.I.F.T (Give It Fresh Today), a local produce donation project. You can also donate fresh produce to them at the Farmer’s Market at Kapiolani Community College. They always need volunteers so contact them at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have a few hours to spare on Saturday mornings.

Handy and Useful Gemstone Guidebooks
