I’ve been offering readings professionally for about fifteen years, primarily as a transformative life coach through my company Creating YOUR Calling® LLC, http://www.coPOWERment.com, which also includes the use of positive psychology scientific research to balance divine guidance for accuracy.
Who were your teachers and mentors that helped shape the way you do readings?
Early on it was my paternal and maternal grandmothers who read cards, palms and tea leaves, then it was the Hay House authors Doreen Virtue, Sonia Choquette and Denise Linn. Most recently I love Lisa Solterbeck, LCSW, CHt, Intuitive Empath, whose work I admire, especially her Essence Illumination cards, which I use in many of the readings I do.
How many years have you studied for your profession?
My entire life, truly (I’m 49), but in terms of self-study, taking workshops and professional life coach trainings through Newfield Network and Dr. Robert Holden, approximately 25 years.
How do you do your readings and what will your client experience in one of your readings?
I say a prayer for the highest outcome for all concerned before readings. I ask Spirit, Angels and Guides of Light to provide a sacred and safe space for all concerned. I then ask the client to think of a question or set of questions for which they would like guidance. I ask them not to tell me what it/these are to maintain privacy, objectivity and accuracy and to shuffle the deck(s). I pull however many cards want to be pulled (usually 3-7) utilizing the guidance of Spirit, Angels and Guides of Light. Often, I know things (clairsentience) and don’t really need cards, but I like to use them to focus and provide imagery for clients. Sometimes Spirit, Angels and Guides of Light will speak through me or to me, passing on a message to the client. Most often I also see things, symbolic images, and I pass along what I see to the client, even if it doesn’t seem logical to me. I have faith that the client will know what it means. I also end readings with a prayer for the highest outcome for all concerned. Amen.
What methods or tools do you use in your readings to access your intuition and information?
Guidance decks (not to be confused with Tarot). Tarot is ancient. Guidance decks are more modern and less scary. Both have value, but I prefer to use the current time/space vibration to read for clients. I sense intuitive imagery and words that channel through me. I also simply know things.
As a reader what situations or areas do you most enjoy helping people with?
Transitions and Transformations: career, moving, romance/relationships, marriage, divorce, childbirth, coming out, retirement, etc…. In other words, I support healthy and empowered choices.
