Atomic Amethyst

Amethyst, a variety of Quartz Crystal, gets its color from traces of Iron/Goethite, and natural irradiation - this gives the usual colorless/white crystal its purple color.

Atomic Amethyst frequently displays "V" shaped banding growth patterns of purple Amethyst and white Quartz.  Some feel this gives the Amethyst a greater dynamic energy allowing more access to the Crown Chakra and our "Higher Self".
