Inscribed on the square is a prayer in Latin, written in Theban script.
Theban script is attributed to Honorius of Thebes, however the earliest published source is from Johannes Trithemius's book Polygraphia (1518).  It was then later popularized by the author's student, the scholar, theologian, and writer, Cornelius Agrippa (1486-1535).

The prayer roughly translates to:

Goddess Fortune (Lady Luck), I pray thee - guide my way.
Fortune, prosperity, and abundance, money come to me.
I attract money, I attract wealth, I attract everything that I want.

The actual prayer in Latin is also written on the reverse of the Talisman in the standard English alphabet if you'd like to recite it.
