• A pseudomorph of Limonite, Goethite, and Hematite after Marcasite, Pyrite.  In mineralogical terms, this means that over a great period of time, the Marcasite and Pyrite was replaced by the minerals Limonite, Goethite, and Hematite while still retaining its original crystalline form, shape and structure
• The primary source of this stone is the White Desert in Farafra, Egypt, however pieces have also been found in the same areas Libyan Desert Glass (Libyan Gold Tektites) are found in the Great Sand Sea between Egypt and Libya
• Also sometimes referred to as Z-Stone or Z-Stone Crystals
