Pendulum

Pendulums are tools that act as an extension of your intuition.  By tapping into your subconscious mind, with a bit of practice, you can access information and discover things obscured, hidden, or unknown to you and your conscious mind.

Those with particular talent can use pendulums for "dowsing" or locating hidden things by using a pendulum over a map or in a physical location where that "target" or thing of focus can be found.

Additional Information:

• Quartz or Quartzite with scale, platelet, flake or fleck inclusions of Hematite (Iron Oxide) or Goethite that give it its color— look for these identifying flecks or granularity of the stone depending on how densely included it may be
• These flecks of mineral inclusions sometimes give a shimmering, glistening, or reflective effect termed aventurescence
• May range in color from deep red, bright red, to pale pink; if more predominantly peach-orange, it is considered Peach or Orange Aventurine instead; also not to be confused with Strawberry Quartz (a more rare variety from a very specific location) which it is frequently sold as
• The natural stone, is named after the man-made Avventurina (from all’avventura, meaning “by chance” in Italian) or Aventurine Glass (Goldstone), which it is thought to closely resemble in appearance— though not in color
• May be dyed to achieve bright, (unnatural) saturated colors
