To learn more on why Billionite is so special we have to understand the process of how tektites are created. If you're already familiar with tektites, and what makes them so powerful, skip ahead to the metaphysical information on Billitonite below.
To understand why these sought after stones are making such an impact in the metaphysical, spiritual and healing communities, we need to understand their origins. Tektites are formed when ancient meteorites or asteroids plummeted to the Earth hundreds of thousands of years ago. The immense energy from the impact of these large extraterrestrial objects melts the terrestrial Earth rock instantaneously. The liquified rock is splashed into the upper atmosphere where it begins to cool and ultimately falls back to Earth in what is known as a Strewn Field. It is believed that the energy of the impact, combined with the space origin material fused with Earth rock hold such an incredibly high vibration that ancient peoples have revered these special stones for their profound healing abilities and have used them as amulets and talismans for generations. It is the unique composition of these tektites and their high energetic signatures that make them priceless tools for healing and evolution.
Rare Billitonite also known as Batu Satam were formed in the same way. Found on the island of Belitung(Billiton) in Indonesia, Billitonite was formed when an ancient asteroid impacted the Earth over 790,000 years ago in South East Asia. It is speculated that the crater is located somewhere in the Gulf of Tonkin in the South China Sea. What's interesting about Billitonite are the intricate grooves, spirals and U shapes etched into it's surface that resemble glyphs or light language. Locals have revered the stone for having mystical properties including protection from illness, and bringing the body to a state of calm tranquility.
Upon having the opportunity to work with the stone, there is an undeniable high frequency energy present that creates the feeling of gentle waves of vibration flowing over the body and recharging the auric field.
